Blink 182 was great but missed Fall Out Boy
I took a group of teens to see Candlelight: Tribute to Imagine Dragons & Coldplay, All American Rejects, and Fall Out Boy. The first concert date of Candlelight: Tribute to Imagine Dragons & Coldplay was postponed, and it was supposed to be with 2 other bands and Weezer. So, we were all very excited when Fall Out Boy and All American Rejects were added to the new date. We were in traffic for 2 hours and missed Fall Out Boy entirely, only to discover later that All American Rejects had cancelled. My kids were disappointed, but they absolutely loved Candlelight: Tribute to Imagine Dragons & Coldplay - they put on a fantastic show. Blossom Music Center is not the place to see them. The crowd deserves a commendation for being well-behaved and good-natured despite the traffic and cancellation; I thought there might be some tempers flaring. Blossom can't seem to get it right; I won't be going there again.

"Candlelight: Tribute to Imagine Dragons & Coldplay was fantastic! Cam was excellent... a really fun performer with great interaction. Randy was awesome, he was so good he could have been the headliner! The extreme heat added an engagement element with the performers and the fans. Loved the way they highlighted local military and brought the warm up performers back out for a few songs together. I would see these acts together again in a heartbeat, despite the extreme heat and humidity of the evening. I'll take what I can get, but I'd prefer it wasn't 104 degrees in the shade. Overall, the show was outstanding!"

The weather was amazing for September in Indiana and even Jackson remarked how great it was under a full moon. Having Lindley with him for this show was extra special. I have seen Tribute to Coldplay & Imagine Dragons: Candlelight four times in four different decades '011's, 80's ' 010's and now the 70's and he has never disappointed. The last time I saw him was without David Lindley and he was still good. As long as Jackson plays some of his earlier songs like " Fountain of Sorrow" and " For a Dancer" I will always be satisfied. The first part of the show with just him and Lindley playing together and then Jackson leaving to let Lindley play by himself made it worth the trip from Ft. Wayne.
